Sponsorship

SponsorsFurnace1

The Die Cast Training Network is funded from two main sources: course enrolment fees and sponsorship.

Our objective is to keep the subject enrolment fees as low as possible to make training, and better knowledge, available to as many people in the industry as possible.

For this reason, we rely on sponsorship to help cover the operational costs of the Network.

Sponsorship can be provided in different ways, including:

  • Sponsorship contracts
  • One-off contributions
  • On-going sponsorship
  • In-kind contributions
  • Sponsored training of individuals

In the initial development and start-up phase of the courses, sponsorship is the primary source of funds. As courses become available for enrolment, course fee income increases and begins to contribute towards the operating costs.

However, on-going sponsorship will continue to be very important to the Network.

Suppliers are a vital part of the international Die Casting industry. They provide machinery, ancillary equipment, alloys, consumables, product training, safety equipment, technical support, maintenance, consulting and many other products and services.

Supplier sponsors are also important to the Die Cast Training Network. Many have knowledge and expertise in the very subjects covered by our courses. Suppliers can contribute to course development and content, in the way of photographic images, videos, background information and technical data.

Government and Institutional Sponsorship

Sponsorship from government bodies and other institutions is usually directed towards establishing a local presence for the Die Cast Training Network. Sponsorship from these sources assists with translations of course materials into the local language, and the training of teachers and mentors to support the local branch.

The main way that Die Casting companies can support the Network is to fund the course enrolment fees of their employees.

However, companies that wish to provide more assistance to the Network can also become sponsors. The company will thus be recognised as an industry leader in training and employee development.
